Review of Grand Theft Auto 4: Complete (PC, 360/BC, PS3)

Hey everyone! This week I review the sixth entry in gaming's best-selling franchise. Are the accessibility scores as high as Rockstar's bank balance?

Let's find out!

(best enjoyed with headphones on!)

Of all franchises most synonymous with the gaming industry today without mentioning Mario or Sonic, Rockstar's Gand Theft Auto Franchise is one of, if not, the biggest. It's latest addition, Grand Theft Auto V holds a lot of records such as

  • best-selling videogame in 24 hours

  • Fastest videogame to gross $1million

  • most viewed trailer for an action-adventure videogame

Earlier on this year, this game got pulled from Steam. This was due to the collapse of Microsoft's Games for Windows Live service (seriously, guys, it was the worst, used it myself!) but earlier on this month, this game came back, with the Episodes from Liberty City bundled in.

In this entry, you play as Nikko Bellic, a  veteran from the Yugoslav Wars, who have immigrated to Liberty  City to reunite with his Cousin Romnan, but things were messed up before he got off the boat! It is up to you to build Nikko's life in Liberty City and work your way up the criminal ladder and achieve the American Dream!

Attention on deck, Company! here come those accessibility scores!

  Visibility 9.5
First things first- This game has no colourblind mode, but the colour scheme that is in place, you should find no issues in this game, as it is colourblind friendly already!

 Audibility 7
This game has subtitles in missions, phone conversations with other characters and in cutscenes, so you should understand what's being said as the story progresses.

Also, you can set your phone to vibrate. When a character calls or sends you a text message your controller vibrates like a Mobile Phone, so you can literally feel it when a character is trying to get in contact with you.

Mobility 9
You can use a mouse and keyboard which can be customised KB+M not for you? you can connect a controller to play it like the console version. The only criticism I have of this option is there are only two options for controller layouts. So in terms of the console version and using a controller, more customisation options would be great.

Gameplay 8
The biggest problem with this game is the PC version's multiplayer had to be cut out completely, so is a few in-game radio stations. So if you are looking to buy a GTA  game, your only option is GTAV. But the fact that it has both DLC episodes the amount of content makes up for it. The base game is very substantial with activities, like Bowling, Darts etc. You'll be playing this game for hours!

In summary, GTA4: Complete edition is a welcome addition to a GTA fan's PC gaming library. As with all GTA games, you can add your own music to the game as an in-game radio station. It's easy to set up. Get the music files you want to add. Go to your documents>  Rockstar Games> GTAIV>User Music. Drop the files in the folder that's it! This game is a lot of fun to play, with the Coronavirus lockdown.

OVERALL SCORE  83.75%

See you guys in the next review!
