ROAD TO IX- EP.1 The Phantom Academy- Review of Jedi Academy(Various formats)

Ladies, Gentlemen, Ewoks and Wookies  alike!

Welcome to the Road to XI.

what is the Road to XI you ask? Let me explain.

Kenzie "N7" Retro and Iae now going to a midnight screening  Star Wars Episode IX: the Rise of Skywalker. To count down the weeks until the film's release (December 19th) We will be doing a season of Star Wars games. (Kenzie's pitching skills were better than Thomas from The Apprentice's!).

To kick things off. A timeless classic. Can Kenzie learn to kick someone's @$$ with The Force? or is this game like a Scruffy Nerf Herder?

Let's find out!

WARNING- NARRATION CONTAINS A JUMP SCARE! and best enjoyed with headphones on. Not too loud!

The Lightsaber, According to an interview with Mark Hamill, more powerful than Excalibur.  The weapon of the Jedi or Sith. But you'll need how to use that 'saber first!

This game is the fourth entry of the Dark Forces series. You play as Jaden Korr, a new student at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy, where you study to be a Jedi. You fall under the stewardship of Kyle Kitarn. You discover a secret Sith cult. You then go from system to system, completing missions to uncover the cult, then bring it down... Or join them.

The accessibility scores are as follows:

Visibility 0
In the campaign, if you are targeting an ally the crosshair should show green, and if you are targeting an enemy, your crosshair will turn red. the shield and health bars are also red and green. It's best to avoid this game.

Audibility 10
There are in-game subtitles which are present in mission beings, and in missions. So you can understand what's going on.

Mobility 10

You can choose from numerous stick and button layouts to choose from so you can pick up and play this hame with relative ease.

Gameplay 10.5
This my friend, is the best game of the Jedi Knight series. The lightsaber dueling system is perfected. Best one of the lot. With multiple saber types to choose from you can pick whichever suits you best. you can use a single-bladed lightsaber. A staff lightsaber, like Darth Maul uses. Or go John Woo, and dual wield two single-bladed sabers!

The story is exciting and a blast to play. With the freedom to choose which side of the force you want to pledge allegiance to each with its own endings, there's an excuse to go for another playthrough.

In terms of the Multiplayer,, it's not available to Xbox players, due to the server shutdown. But the PC servers are still up! So you can go take on other people  at lightsaber fueled deathmatches, wth a 1v1 or 2v1 dueling modes, you'll be hooked on this game for a while,

In summary, as I said before this is the best game of the Jedi Knight series. What Lucas Arts have done with this game is taken what's good about Jedi Outcast and cranked them tenfold. With this game being cheap on Steam and GOG and backward compatibility, it would be a great choice for Star Wars fans who wants a Star Wars game to play over the festive season.

OVERALL SCORE 76.25%

See you guys in the next review SpartanCommander1990 out.
