Review of Sonic Heroes (Xbox/PS2/PC)

Hey, guys. Today I review one of the games I used to play before my accident in 2004, so can  SEGA gain a foothold on the Satoru Iwata Memorial Award, let's find out!

May 23rd, 2017, a major atrocity has happened an Islamic extremist detonated a nail bomb after an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena in England. At leas 22 people, mostly children and teenagers have been killed. So this review is dedicated to everyone who has lost their lives in this attack.

A reader of this blog, Kenzie "N7" Retro, who requested this review was there when the attack happened. It is relieving to know that he is safe

As a further mark of respect, the deductions will not be in effect.

Onto the review itself

in this game, you play as one of the three available teams with their own unique storylines- Team Rose wants to find Sonic, Amy's self-proclaimed boyfriend, Big's pet frog, Froggy, and Cream's pet Chao Cheese's friend Chocola, Team Dark is off to find Eggman, Team Chaotix is helping a mysterious employer on a case, and Team Sonic is finding out what Eggman's plan to conquer the world in three days and stop it.

The accessibility scores are as follows

Visibility 8
The colour schemes are quite accessible blue signs gates and icon in the interface would indicate Speed Formation, yellow would be in fly formation, and red would indicate Power Formation. There is no way to alter the colour scheme, despite that, it's very accessible.

Audibility 10
There are in-game subtitles in the game and in cutscenes so you can understand what's going on and what's been said.

Mobility 6
There is no way to alter the control layout but it is easy enough to play.If you've played a 3D Sonic game before, this won't be too much unfamiliar to you

Gameplay 9
Each team's story offers their own unique gameplay styles, but on the same levels, so the game does get stale, the 2-player split screen mode adds a little extra lifespan, but not that much. The formation system which has been implemented makes it stands out from the crowd. Like I said earlier I remember playing this game on the GameCube, so when I  got this game on Xbox(it's compatible on 360, but there are a few bugs) so I was feeling nostalgic. I will hand you over to Vegeta to give us a scouter reading...

thanks, man! So all-in-all this game ain't  all that bad, but there are quite a few issues on the accessibility front.

OVERALL SCORE 82.5%

see you guys in the next review
