This time i review a game with Jack Black from Tenacious D in it! So can Eddie Briggs and Lars lead Ironheade to victory against Blizzard or will Starcraft crash the stage and steal the show? Let's find out!
This game takes you a fictional Lord of The Rings Style Universe.
You play as Eddie Briggs a "roadie"(basically a support technician who prepares a stage before a concert) who gets involved in a freak stage accident. He then finds himself in a war-torn world. It's up to you and your crew of Heavy Metal Star Cameos and army to defeat the Emperor Diviculus and restore balance to the world! (Star Wars cliche *ding*)
The accessibility scores are as follows:-
Visibility 10
there's no need for a colorblind mode as friends from foes are easy to distinguish. So you can play this game with the greatest of ease! Rock on Double Fine!
Audibility 10
there's in-game subtitles plus even better- there's even an ability to censor them, so you can make those subtitles as clean or as fruity as you want! Also in multiplayer matches notifications will appear on screen so you can locate the event which is happening. So you can immerse yourself in the universe that is Brutal Legend with ease!
Mobility 10
The combat system is very similar to Dynasty warriors- constantly spam the A button for melee of x to use your guitar for a raged attack. When playing guitar solos the buttons has to be pressed in the correct sequence and time similar to a quick-time event. You then use your D-pad to issue commands to your forces So you can pick up a controller and rock it out as Jack [censored]ing Black in no time!
Gameplay 10
In short, this game is similar to Duke Nukem Forever but a hell of a lot better! The dialogue is realty humorous, the story is rich and the tactical element makes it unique and interesting as you play through the various missions which makes this game really enjoyable!
OVERALL SCORE 100%
great fun to play and really accessible , but since there's nobody playing online anymore, Blizzard still holds on to the top spot
see you on the next review
Segafan1990 out!
