Review of League of Legends

this time DGR  ventures into Summoners' rift for some more MOBA( Multiplayer Online Battle Arena)  action!  so, is this game more accessible to Dota?
let's find out!

League of Legends  has  players battling it out since its release in October 2009! this review has  been  requested three times, from Tom Starkey and his other half Georgie Rowland and Fraser "EA sucks" McKenzie.
This game is heavily inspired from Dota when it was  a mod for Warcraft , you pick a champion (Dota 2 hero cliche *ding*)  and  push down one of the map's 3 lanes (League  uses the same map as Dota *ding*)   as uncontrollable units called minions (Dota creep cliche*ding*)  destroying  the turrets (Dota 2 tower cliche *ding*) along the lanes to destroy the inhibitors (Dota 2 Barracks cliche *ding*) then destroy the enemy Nexus (Dota 2 Ancient cliche*ding*) to claim victory  I've racked up 5 sins before i went into the accessibility scores Cinemasins, eat your heart out! anyway the accessibility scores are as follows-

Visibility 4
Although there is a colour-blind mode added to the game but it changes very little. Your champion's health bar only turns yellow, and that's it! A lot more work is needed to  successfully implement this colourblind scheme! So i'd say wait until Heroes of the Storm gets released, or apply for the beta it has a successfully implemented colourblind mode

Audibility 10
This game is a lot more accessible than Dota in this category. If a hero is  slain/killed, a structure is destroyed notifications pops up at the top-center of the screen. So you can easily keep up-to-date on what's going on in  the battle during a match.

Mobility  10
neither this game or Dota is more accessible.  They use the exact same controls. You can customise the hotkeys  and the corresponding hotkey is shown in the ability's  portrait. You can use the mouse to use abilities, so this game is accessible to mobility impaired gamers.

Gameplay 9
This game and Dota is practically much the same. Thats because League of Legends is heavily inspired by Dota when it was a Warcraft 3 mod.  If you have played these games before you will be right at home! The game's economy is  very well executed. There's two currencies in the game. Riot Points (RP) and Influence points (IP). You buy RPs  by paying money or use prepaid cards, You gain IPs  by playing matches, For obvious reasons, the winning team gains a small bonus. You  can spend these currencies on   various items such as runes and  extra champions. So in summary you can buy items from the store(not to be confused with the  in-battle shop) with either skill or cash, which, in my opinion is the best economic free-to-play models! Not that bad Riot!

OVERALL SCORE  82.5%
not a bad score, but it's unsuccessful execution of the colourblind mode drags that figure right down!

SIN COUNT- 5
SENTENCE - RACCOON CITY!
