review of Virtua Tennis 2009(PS3, 360,Wii)

Vuirta Tennis by SEGA, is  one of the best tenizs games in the industry, this  game was also ported to Wii, so is this game  a case of Murray Mania? or is it like a(Novak) Joke-a-vich
Virta Tennis gives you a choice,  create a player and climb the world rankings in World Tour mode or take control  of one of the sport's professionals like Murray, one of the Williams sisters, or Hewitt, and take on increasingly challenging opponents in the arcade mode( there once was Virtua Tennis arcade machines, after all). the accessibility scores are as follows.

Mobility-  10- easy to pick up and play.

the controls are pretty basic ,you use your Wii Remote  like  a tennis racket on the Wii version, in the controller based versions (360, PS3) you use the analogue stick to make your player run around the court,  doing a shot/smash, lob or drop shot is bound to the individual buttons respectively.

Audible- 8  very acessible

there is very little dialogue in the game, so the lack of subtitles wouldn't matter but on the other hand it wont tell you who is serving, but the scorecard is visible in the top left of the screen for you to refer to, it also  notifies who is on match point, so it should cater for people with hearing impairments

Visual- 10    people with visual impairments should be able to play, no problem!
an arrow will be indicating which player is controlling who, this is represented by numbers, so colour blind players  except the block buster training game, which is like the classic Atari game Breakout, so you will find it hard to distinguish the various colour blocks.

Gameplay 8- a good tennis simulator but  it can get repetitive quickly

Virtua Tennis 2009   is fun to play, specially in the World Tour Mode  but  the gameplay can get repetitive quickly as you are doing the same thing over and over.

 90% family fun for everyone!
Virtua Tennis 2009 is one of those game which takes minutes to lean, but days to master, and this game is a lot of fun to play, especially with friends  whether it be singles or doubles!
