Review of Seek & Destroy (PS2)

Hey everyone! Today  I am in R-cade Glasgow to review another throwback to the highly successful PS2 era.

Does this game have the accessibility features to match?

 Let's find out!

The year is 2002, the PS2 is over a year old, the movie industry had both Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, and the mighty Vice City hit the market like a jackhammer.

This game was originally called Shin Combat Choro Q in Japan.A few months later Conspiracy Entertainment brought this game to the west. Finally, in 2003 Play It ported this game to the EU.

The game takes place in the world of QueWar, a militaristic Q-stein Empire attacks the  Peaceful Proton Kingdom.  It is up to you to pick a tank from a roster and help  Major Rodeschild fight back and defeat the Q-stein Empire!

The accessibility scores are as follows:

Visibility 9.5
The only way to determine which side a tank is on is the flag that is mounted onto the tank itself. You allies bear the blue flag of the Proton Kingdom and the enemy tanks bear the flag of the Q-Stien Empire, which has a striking resemblance to the Brotherhood of Nod's from the classic Command & Conquer games. The flags, however, are very small, due to the hardware limitations of the PS2. But this shouldn't be that much of an issue.  You'll be OK with this game.

Audibility 10
The in-game dialogue is text-based so you'll understand what's going on in the cutscenes. Non issues here.

Mobility 10
You can customise the controls via the options menu. If Camera type 2 is selected,  a legacy-style stick layout is activated. So you'll be able to play this game.

Gameplay 9
Gameplay-wise, this game plays a lot like the highly successful World of Tanks, you control your tank around the battlefield, working with your AI teammates and smash the opposing force! ASs you progress through the game more tanks will be available to you. But after a while, the game gets repetitive and cumbersome. So everything in moderation, I guess!

In summary, this game is a bit like Haggis. The fact that it's made with sheep's innards makes this delicacy  repulsive for most foreigners, but when the person summons enough courage to accuracy try it, you'll love it!, especially with mashed Potatoes and Gravy (yum, yum, makes us hungry to even think about it!) this game is a textbook example of the phrase "Don't knock it till you've tried it!"

OVERALL SCORE 96.25%

Sorry guys, no narrations as this is done on-site (in this case, R-Cade)

See you guys in the next review!
