Review of Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time( PC, OG Xbox, PS2, GCN, PS3)

Hey everyone!  to kick off the review series of the entire Prince of Persia series, I rewind time to the year 2003, Is this game's score is high enough to take this miniseries off on a high note? Or should Ubisoft rewind time, and try again?

Let's find out!

(Best enjoyed with headphones on!)

The year is 2003, the era of supersonic travel officially came to an end as Concorde take its final flight from JFK airport, in New York City, to London's Heathrow airport on October 24. Our second journey to middle Earth came to a close as Lord of the rings: the return of the King premiered in theatres on December 1, it was bad news for commuters, as congestion charges came into force, forcing people who travel into London city centre by car had to pay 5 pounds.

British game shows, in general, is turned on its head as British Army major, Charles Ingram attempted to swindle his way to the biggest cash jackpot on British television through conveniently timed coughs, on ITV's hit game show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

In the world of gaming, Microsoft's Xbox brand has established a very strong foothold in the market, and this little gem got released

As the name suggests, this game is set in Persia, during the 9th Century AD, You play as  The Prince,  who went to India to visit the Sultan of Azad who came under attack from the armies of a Viser to the  Maharaja in attempt to find the Illusive Sands of Time to prevent his death. It is up to you and Farah to stop him from finding it!

The accessibility scores are as follows:

Visibility  10
Although there is no colourblind mode. but there is little need for one. Everyone but Prince is an enemy, so you should be OK with this game.

Audibility 0
There are no subtitles available in this game, so you'll find it difficult to understand what's going on in the story.

Mobility 11
In the PC version, you can define the keys. There's gamepad support, which can also be remappable, so you'll be A-OK with this game.

Gameplay 8
For a platformer, this game is pretty decent. The  Matrix-esque parkour elements are a welcome addition. You can run across walls to traverse chasms or pits. But it's the combat system that's the fly in Ubisoft's soup. Battles against enemies are, basically, Warriors-esque button mash fests. This makes the gameplay cumbersome pretty quickly. The Half-Life style blend of puzzle-solving and combat is a breath of fresh air to other popular games like PUBG, Call of Duty or Halo. These single-player experiences are a  very rare breed.

Nowadays, games are multiplayer-focused or in some cases, Multiplayer only. So if you are looking for a classic platformer to play after those long days in lockdown, this game is recommended
u have a copy of this for the Original Xbox, you ca\n play it on your  New Xbox One through backwards compatibility!

      OVERALL SCORE 72.5%

See you guys in the next review
