we interrupt Face Off  to bring you Robot Wars

well, there is a very valid reason why  I have used that particular quote...

I have been invited to go to the tapings of Robot Wars, which I'd like to say I really can't be more appreciative for.

Onto the reviews themselves.
The way these are going to work is that I will go through each review category individually and give each game a score, the highest score wins the category, the game with the most category wins the match, similar to Match Play Rules in Golf.

Visibility

Team Fortress 2 6
Team Fortress 2lacks a colorblind mode, but the team colours are Red and Blue. I understand that there's less impact on colour blindness, but this issue still needs addressing, and we all know how to address it.

OverWatch 11

OverWatch, on the other hand, has very comprehensive colorblind modes,  you can customise both the type and intensity of the scheme to cater for all colorblind players, which I think deserves the extra point

Verdict: In terms of visual impairments, OverWatch crushes Team Fortress. OverWatch, which takes the lead, with a five-point advantage!

Audibility

Team Fortress 2 10
Team Fortress 2  closed caption Support. Now what closed caption support is, in a nutshell, is a level up from Subtitles. This would mean even the sound effects you'd hear while playing so you can immerse yourself in the game very easily

OverWatch 10
OverWatch lacks the closed caption support Team Fortress 2 has, but when teammates are saying "I need healing!", icons would appear over the speaker's heads, allowing you to understand what's been said. So you can focus more on the action on-screen rather than pay more attention to the subtitle area.

Verdict: Each and every game has their own unique suite of accessibility features, which makes each game just as accessible. So I had to call a stalemate on this one!

Mobility

Team Fortress 2 5
This game has bindable keys and partial controller support. But the console version is where the major problems arise. The console versions lack a  changeable stick layouts, so you are stuck with dual-sticks to move and turn which is very bad for mobility impaired gamers. But, to be fair the button layouts can be customised. But that just simply is not good enough.

OverWatch 10
Unlike Team Fortress 2 this game has native controller support. There are numerous stick layouts (including legacy!) which can be changed. Similar to Team Fortress 2, the button layouts can be customised.

If controllers aren't your cup of tea(each to their own I guess) you can customise your keyboard layouts, the voice menu allows you to chat with your teammates quickly. This feature can be accessed on both controller and keyboard controls so you can use this feature on whichever control method you're using.

Verdict: Hands down, OverWatych takes this category. OverWatch now leads with a two category, with a ten-point advantage

Gameplay

Team Fortress 2 7
There's plenty content to play with, there are nine classes to play as in this game- Heavy, Medic, Sniper, Demoman, Scout, Engineer, Soldier, Spy, and Pyro. Each and every class has their own strengths and weaknesses. Each class must work together to defeat your opposing team. There are multiple game types to play, but the game updates very rarely, so this game does feel a little generic as you play the same content over and over again.

OverWatch 10
OverWatch as twenty-four heroes, each with their own unique set of abilities. This number is growing as updates are rolling out. Each hero has a role to play. For example, Reinhardt is a tank. Tanks can be advantageous in capture-based game types. And Mercy is a support, she can heal your teammates and increase their damage stat. So it will take a long time to master all the champions. The number of maps is increasing as updates arrive so there's a lot of content to play with as updates roll out. So OverWattch has tonnes of lifespan, and that lifespan grows as the content updates roll out.

Verdict: Again OverWatch has taken this category, hands down as updates to the game are a lot more regular than Team Fortress 2.

Overall Verdict: ThisFace-Off is very much one-sided as OverWatch is a more accessible, and much better game gameplay wise,

If you'd fancy playing OverWatch, but you  lack the hardware power fear not, GAME Ayr has you covered as you can see the Collector's edition is available on Xbox One and PS4 in store at  £59.99 (as the shop's resident OverWatch expert, Lyle is holding)

Please note, this comparison is no way biased, Tricia just simply, slipped a fiver in my wallet to put the picture in this review! (just kidding!)
