Battlefeild 1 (Xbox One), scribed by Kenzie N7 Retro

Hi guys! this time Segafan takes on the German advance, can this game secure a nomination for the Bloggies, let's go to war!

RIGHT GUYS, LAST CALL!!!
On Friday, we will have our annual awards, the 2016 Bloggies.  Co-hosted by yours truly (I’m the original dream chaser Kenzie “N7” Retro, scribing this review for Segafan by the way)

Anyway, onto the review.

This is the game that DICE wanted to make, they did the research, they were eager to make this game since the franchise started.  This is the culmination of the team’s hard work and labour.  In this game, you play the part of a British soldier in World War 1 who has to fight off the German advance in France.

The accessibility scores are as follows

Visibility – 10
Once again, DICE doesn’t disappoint us with the vast amount of colour-blind friendly modes, which can be changed on the fly via the options review, which makes the game perfectly accessible for visually impaired players.

Audibility – 10
On screen subtitles are available in game so you can understand what’s going on in the campaign.  BUT, unlike infinite warfare (UH OH SPAGETTIOS) on screen text notifications are on screen during multiplayer matches, just below the scoreboard, so you can understand what’s going on in battle.  TAKE NOTE ACTIVISION!!!

Mobility - 10
With multiple control layouts available for the console versions, this game caters more than adequately for mobility impaired players

Gameplay – 10
Now, in a nutshell, this is infinite warfare…IN REVERSE!!! With the game set in World War 1, it’s a very fresh take on the FPS genre (First Person Shooter), unlike Activision’s counterpart which IS SET IN SPACE?! Activision, you are aware this ISN’T Star Wars or Halo, right?

Also, Segafan would like to kindly point out that it is also set in the future, to be honest, the community is tired of these futuristic entries to the franchise

Another fantastic addition to the game is the dynamic weather system, meaning the battle could change at any moment.  Examples include a dry weather field and then, all of a sudden, it could start raining.  Also, you could be in a dry desert when, suddenly, a sandstorm could sweep in

(NO, NOT THAT KIND OF SANDSTORM YOU MUSIC NERDS!!!)

In all seriousness, this is the sort of game that Activision need, otherwise, Call of Duty will just waste more time romancing a robot.  Let’s face it EA and DICE saw Activision and Infinity Ward’s fans filing for a divorce and to really drive the bayonet into the heart of Call of Duty, a seven nation army couldn’t hold Battlefield back.  Also, we interrupt this battlefield 1 review to bring you the rap battle between battlefield 1 and infinite warfare *ding.*

Overall Score – 100%

Our final ultra combo before the Bloggies and very well deserved.

We’ll see you on Friday for the 2016 Bloggies.

This is Segafan1990 and Kenzie “N7” Retro signing out.

please note: no Call of Duty fanboys were trolled in the making of this review.
