The DOOM series, since its beginnings in 1995, it paved the way for most shooters out there. The original game was often imitated numerous times, like Bad toys 3D
but as you can see, nothing comes even close to the original.
onto the review, you wake up in Mars in the midst of a daemonic invasion. It's up to you to find out the source of the invasion and stop it before the daemonic hordes invade Earth. The accessibility scores are as follows:
Visibility 10
That's what i'm talking about Bethesda! there's colorblind filters that allows you to see the game normally by putting a filter which makes everything more high contrast.
Audibility 10
There's on screen subtitles so you can understand what's going on in the campaign, the multiplayer is no different if events like a daemonic rune spawns in visual cues will appear on the screen so you can get there to grab it before anyone does. So you can play this game no problem
Mobility 7
you can redefine controls on PC but you can't change the stick layout when playing on console. so if you want to get into this game, best to do so on PC, if your rig is powerful enough.
Gameplay 10
this game is a hell of fun to play. The story is gripping and fun to play, the multiplayer is a welcome addition to the game. it feels similar to Quake but it's brilliant fun to play.
IdTech 6 or as the developers jokingly nickname it IdTech 666 (Iron Maiden cliché *ding*) takes graphics to a whole new level. the environments look very realistic which blends in with the dark satanic theme of the game.
OVERALL SCORE 92.5%
fun single player, great multiplayer, if I were to review the PC version alone, it would've received a perfect 100%, but the lack of alternate stick layouts in the console versions can't be ignored
one final thing- big screw you to Activision for filing a false copyright claim on Kenzie N7" Retro's video that gave fair criticism about Infinite Warfare. D!ck move Activision. Your game sucks, admit it. Also you put supply drops, which is basically micro transactions to Modern Warfare Remastered shows your greed.
