This game takes place 50 years after the original System Shock. Trioptimum builds the Vaaun Braun to allow humanity to reach far away planets in a matter of weeks. But the evil AI struck again. SHODAN wanted to merge the realms of cyberspace and reality (Discount Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat *DING*) and it's up to you to stop it!

Visibility 10
There's no need for a colorblind mode as the key cards not color coded, so you will be OK with this game
Audibility 0
There's no subtitles in the dialogue, so you're going to be left in the dark as to what's happening as the story unfolds. in SS1 the audio log button flashes to notify there's an audio log added to your database. In SS2 this is no longer the case. So SS1 is more accessible in this retrospect
Mobility 10
The controls can be refined and the mouse-based use and inventory interface which is geat for mobility impaired gamers
Gameplay 8
This game is not as fun and as scary as SS1. This game is more action based than the horror experience. The gameplay in this game is in no way similar to SS1. But the stats mechanic keeps it fresh and unique. As you progress through the game you gain modules that upgrade your stats, learn now Psi Powers or develop your skills with weapons. So System Shock 1 is without a shadow of a doubt the better cyber-horror games, in my opinion.
OVERALL SCORE 70%
