Review of Ori and the Blind forest (Xbox One, PC)

Hi guys! this time i review a game that  Kenzie "N7" Retro hailed as his game of the year, 2015!  but we'll see  if   it lives up to that accolade!

a request coming from Kenzie to review a game that is NOT  made by Bioware, can this game be a cure to his addiction to Mass Effect? <insert FF7 victory fanfare>

Anyway. You play as Ori, a young orphan spirit who has to  save his home, the forest of Nibel (Mount Nibel from FF7 cliche*ding*) after a great storm which makes the forest and it's food supply start to wither, it is up to you to find and master the three elements that supported the forest Wind, Water and Warmth. The accessibility scores are as follows.

Visibility 10
everyone but Ori is foe, so no there's  need for a colourblind mode!

Audibility 10
the game is fully subtitled. the dialogue is in Japanese, so good luck understanding what's going on without!

Mobility 3
the controls are simple, but there is no way to change them! Pretty inaccessible in this particular category

Gameplay 10
This game's  immersive story hits you  right in the heartstrings. It's a 2D platformer similar to Metroid, so if you're a retro enthusiast *slowly raises hand* you're in for a treat. Very well executed Moon Studios. This game will keep you occupied for quite a long while.

OVERALL SCORE  82.5%

Apart the control issue, a pretty good game.

See you guys in the next review
Segafan1990 out!

P.S just seen the Force Awakens,  a pretty much pro-forma Star Wars film. But i'm not gonna drop any spoilers(even i'm not THAT cruel!)
