review of Rollcage Redux ( requested by Robert Baker)

ok guys! i thought that the MarioKart 8 review was pressurising, but an  actual developer of the game requesting a review of the game he programmed!
Originally  released  in 1999  developed by Psygnosis ( makers of  WipEout, once again for the PlayStation) but Robert was still working on a remake of the original game. S can this game conquer the retro category of the blog( currently held by  "up up down down left right left right" Konami. let's find out!

most 90s style racers  were battle racers, similar to MarioKart.  but this game is done  differently. Payers will pick a track, or championship, then battle your way to finishing first, this time with modernized graphics. the accessibility scores are as follows:

visibility 10

although this game has no colourblind mode, there's little need for one, i mean it's 1999 we're talking about! also the icons for weapons  is easily to understand because they look so different,  so players with visual impairments should be able to play..

audibility 10
there is no spoken dialogue in the game so there's no need for subtitles,  also  when you are going the wrong way, or on the last lap large, transprent icons appear on screen. This is probably due to  the PlayStation's limited hardware capabilities but on the plus side, make the game easier to play with hearing  impairments. The only thing you'll be missing would be the game's  trance/techno soundtrack which in my oppinion, pretty good.
Mobility 10
a fine example of an accessible game! re definable control schemes that's the way to design a game ! we need more of that! ASAP! So in summary  this game is  great for mobility impaired players!
Gameplay 9
sadly, it's no GTA5 killer  but it still is a pretty awesome game, i remember playing Stage 2 on a demo disc, i now remember 90s racers actually was. also there is few tracks in this game, s a built-in track editor would be a good idea and if it was to be published on Steam, users would  be able to share their tracks via the Workshop.   Also it being a remaster the graphics has been modified and updated but, compard to Next-Gen systems, would'nt come even close to it!  Despite these small flaws  it  is a true testament to the  original PlayStation/ PC  battle racer.
total score 97.5 %
a true contender in the retro games category!
