review of Mariokart8 (requestyed by the staff at GAME Ayr)

alright! alright! ill  do it! ill review it! this is a huge thank  you for the people who has sponsored me for my cycle around Cumbrae. When the staff at GAME  Ayr offered me a Time Trial on Mariokart 8 in an excange for a review the gauntlet was thrown down! but when the target got reached within a good 3 days i  got geared up and ready for my first review on a just-launched title( buut no pressure though DX)
This is the  8th iteration of the MarioKart series, which is bigger than ever!chose from a diverse roster of thirty characters then duke it out on  the track!
the accessibility scores are as follows:
Visual 10
the racers are distinguished by icons not colours so players who should be able to distinguish on who is playing as who so colourblind players should be A-OK with this.
Mobility 8
Using the standard tablet controller   which is shipped with Wii U is going to be a problem with hemiparesis but the variety of alternate control options  should negate this problem. so despite  the problem with the tablet controller it should be ok with tearing up the track in the Mushroom Kingdom!

Audible 10
there's no spoken dialogue so no subtitles are required and if a red shell-or worse the infamous Blue shell is headed your way an icon should appear on the bottom of the screen to warn you. should be no problems in playing this game

gameplay 9
this game retains the charm, and thrills the franchise is famous for!  the game is fun to play both online and offline  the game introduces a metric tonne of new stuff new weapons, new tracks, you name it, my only criticism of this category is that the battle arenas like in the previous entries are non-existent, the battle modes take place in the standard tracks so finding opponents in those modes can be frustrating.

overall score 92.5%
