review of Streets of Rage (various formats)

Okay guys! time for another course of Retro gaming goodness! this time i review one of the  gleaming jewels of the Genesis( or Mega Drive in Europe)

Originally released in 1991, this game is Kenzie "EA Sucks" Retro's favorite retro games- Streets of Rage! So lets take this game a quick Spin on the Bridge and Go  Straight into the review!
In this game, Mr. X  and his criminal gang has taken over the city! Its now up to Axel Stone and his team of vigilantes to defeat  Mr.X and restore things back to normal. The accessibility scores are as follows:-

Visibility 10
there's no need for a colorblind mode as everyone on the screen (except for your co-op partner, if you have a friend round) is foe, so you know who deserves  a good firm beat down. So no problems when playing with visual impairments!

Audibility 10

There's no dialogue in game, due to memory limitations on Genesis cartridges, so there's no need for subtitles, the only thing you'd be missing out on is Yuzo Koshiro's epic soundtrack. We'll get  into that later on in the review!
Mobility 10
This game is  a brawler. You use the Analogue stick or d-pad to move your character in  the respective direction. and you just ruthlessly spam the attack button, similar to KOEI/TEMCO's Dynasty Warriors series, but there are a few secret moves like Axel's GRAND UPPER! attack and  you can call in mortar strikes which can desolate every enemy on the screen.

Gameplay 10
This game is pure retro gold! It has that timeless feeling to it! it's really fun and addictive to play, but the novelty wears off after  X (pun intended) amount of playthoughs. The soundtrack is very catchy, whivh was based on dance and techno music Koshiro heard  when he was in nightclubs in Chicago. I cpould go into a full-blown rant on facts about the Streets of Rage Trilogy, and i highly recommend this game!

OVERALL SCORE 100%

ANOTHER ULTRA COMBO!
AXEL JUST GAVE SONIC A  BEATDOWN! SOR TAKES THE TOP SPOT

this review is also dedicated to the head of Nintendo Satoru Iwata
